Considering buying new shocks for my 66 pass. Chevy C/60 chassis RV. This will be a 23,000 gvw vehicle..quite heavy. Has anyone used the KYB gas shocks on a BIG bus and experienced considerable ride improvement? Thanx in advance, Shawn
Usually special aftermarket shocks are to improve the HANDELING and stiffen an already harsh when light skoolie ride.
To make a skoolie RIDE better its necessary to remove a leaf or two from the springs.
Best is to install aftermarket air bags , and only pump up to 20 or 30 lbs, and let the air take the first bumps.
