Looking for a good used Ford 429 or 370 Bus Engine Jason Van Dyke 8-4-07  
I'm in Des Moines, but willing to travel for a GOOD used 429 or 4 barrel-370 School bus engine. These buses are sometimes called Lima Engines - as they were built in Lima Ohio. The bus I need it for has an automatic Allison transmission.

I have a rebuilt 429 out of a 1980 Ford/ward schoolbus that had the allison auto i have for sale. i can e-mail you pics if interested. im also located in Winona Minnesota which is about 4 hours from Des Moines.
