Vehicle on top of school bus brad 6-14-07
Has anyone put a vehicle on top of a schoolie. I have seen it and now i am going to attempt it. I own a 88 carpenter and a 77 vw camper bus its going on the roof and was looking to discuss a few things that maybe you have come across
thanks
brad

I did store a small datsun for a couple years on the roof of a scoolie, & saw few pict of a VW bus on the top, as long you stay under 13'6" & hook it solid. You sure will attract a lot of comments.

The only real problem you will run into when you add the top half of something like a VW bus onto the roof of a bus is you will run into some real resistance from campground owners when you go to check in for the night.

The "funky" look reminds people too much of the hippies who were less than stellar members of our communities. In order to forestall those sorts of problems many parks do not allow certain types of RV's. And the top of the list are converted school buses, particularly those that have additions on the roof.
