We have a 1990 GMC, with a Eaton Rear end model number "190505 model 1", and a five speed manual transmission. How is the best way to make this bus cruise safely at 65 MPH? It does about 53 now.
I suspect the transmission is a direct. You could swap out the direct transmission for an overdrive. The only other option would be to change out the ratio of the rear axle and go to something shallower. This would scarifice some of your startability though.
