Post New Message Detroit Deisel, Cummins and Caterpillar are "industry standards", so parts are very available. I reccomend checking with a local deisel repair shop or Detroit Deisel servicer to see if there were any oddball years.

Basic air brake components haven't changed much, so you should also be able to find parts.

Window glass and body parts are harder to find as the vehicle gets older (which is the same for car restoration). Some body manufacturers have gone out of business. Crown busses are very popular, so you should have some support to draw on.
