I am looking for a junk bus to tow to my property and live in. I don't need much tred on the tires and it doesn't need to work mechanically at all.
I just need something quick I can live in. Also, my property is in Vermont, so I'm looking in-state or nearby. Please contact me if you have any info.
Thanks
I have a GMC 4903 (intercity coach), 40 ft bus which has been stripped on the inside so that I can convert it. I am tired of the project and want the bus gone. I live in Rhode Island, right on the Mass border, close to 495, exit 18 (Bellingham).
If you want to come and get it out of my backyard, in one day, then you can have it.
But, here's the deal: It may run, since it did when I parked it 8 years ago. It may not. Either way, I have already hassled with someone else who wanted it, but wasted three of my weekends not having a plan.
You can have it for nothing, but have to be sure you can come, start it, tow it, whatever... but make sure it goes.
It also has many parts you can use to live with: toilet (not installed), inverter (2500), heater, stove, etc. Nothing is that great, but what can one expect for zero dollars.
Let me know by posting here, and then I'll contact you.
Thank you very much, ZG. I wish I could take you up on your generous offer. I'm in the northernmost part of VT (on the canadian border) and i don't know a way to get your bus that far if it doesn't run. if anything comes up, send me an email crankycrane109@hotmail.com
This sounds great. I live in Foster RI on Rt. 102. Even if the bus is junk we could use the stove, heater, toilet, etc. Let me know if it's still available.
Thanks
Rick
Good luck getting a bus. If you ever get a Bluebird bus and will be converting your Bluebird bus door and will no longer need the original driver's handle, shroud, and linkage, please contact me, I am looking for the handle, shroud, and linkage. I'm also looking for the metal exterior grab handles, fans, and fan switches. Thanks! My e-mail is mrbenstock@hotmail.com
