Is It Possible me 8-5-06  
Is it possble and legal to make an school bus longer? at the back (behind the rearend) or whats the best way for this any ideas?

i want to make a car hauler and a little camper to travel so i need lots of room any one have ideas? thanks for you help.

I imagine that it IS possible, but I can't speak to the legality of it. I can tell you that the municipalities that I have dealt with frown upon any modified structure longer than 40 feet. I've seen several car hauler projects using various bus bodies, but I haven't seen anyone trying to lengthen the body.

Sure it's possible, I saw one.
The bus was a front engine 30' the owner extend to 38' at the rear, & install a diesel engine at the back & a genset where the gas engine was at the front. The inside was nicely done.
I feel the overhang at the rear was too long.
