|Re: Schoolie Wanted by Rusty|
|I have a 1957 Chevy 20-passenger (shortie)
schoolbus for sale. I am the 4th owner. It was originally owned by a private school in Beverly Hills. When the school closed down the bus driver bought it and retired it in the dessert in Camrillo,Ca. A collector from Las Vegas bought it and I bought it from him 5 years ago.
It has a re-built 1979 chevy 454. I had to redo the frontend. I used a 1985 chevy suburban to hold the engine. You gotta look real close to see where it was cut and welded. It has 16 inch chrome wheels with disc brakes in the front and a swaybar. It has turbo 400 tranny and a 1986 chevy dually rear end with crome wheels. Loper headers and it will scoot.
If your interested you can email me for pictures. I am asking $8,000 for it. I have $12,000 in it. I have kept all reciepts since the day I bought it.
