I just got a 1990 GMC with a blue bird body. I am using it to move from Illinois to Utah. I am sure i will have plenty more questions.
Has anyone replaced their driver's seat. What they used a seat out of and how it was mounted. I was wondering what would be tall enough or how to easily lift it. Thanks guys.
Already came to question number 2. I thought i had read about some one putting a hitch on before, but now i can't find it. I would also like to put on a hitch because i will be towing my car. Are the any concerns with this or anything i should know before jumping into it. Again thanks a lot.
I know there have been a lot of conversions where the driver's seat was changed in favor of a minivan or other seat, but I haven't found much in the way of documentation. You may want to start at that URL and check out http://www.pettypb.com/bus for some insight.
Good luck with bus. If you will be converting your Bluebird bus door and will no longer need the original driver's handle, shroud, and linkage, please contact me, I am looking for the handle, shroud, and linkage. I'm also looking for the metal exterior grab handles, fans, and fan switches. Thanks! My e-mail is mrbenstock@hotmail.com
I have all kinds of bus seats, both simple, and air ride style
Drop me a line if interested.
