Wheel Info for removal aaron 9-1-05
I have a 87 chevy C60/6000 65 pass. with split rims. i have broken all of the front lugs loose, however they all turn right along with the studs. they will not break off and they will spin as much as you can loosen them. I have concluded that a)the studs are stripped at the hub or b)i have a stud piloted lug system with two lugs per stud. can anyone tell me how to remove my wheels?

If you can access the wheel bearings, take the outer bearing out and remove the wheel as a unit with the drum attached (this is like how you do rear brakes on a tandem dump, BTW, only with that you pull the axle out and *THEN* pull the wheel bearings)

Hope that helps!
