I would like to change the differential housing and all on my 1995 gmc safari 2wd to a gm truck differential. Are these interchangeable?

Yes as long as the mounting points and shock mounts match. With a custom differential swap, typically these mounts would be welded on so that the equipment bolts on. This means you would have to cut the old mounting off and get new mounts and weld them on once you get the diff centered and the pinion angle set. Hope that helps!
