INACTIVE TURN SIGNALS SKYLARK 10-13-04
I have a 1958 GMC school bus. I am having turn signal problems (they will not work at all). My horn and my fashers work but my turn siganls does not. I First tested to see if I had power to the turn signal wires, I dont. Then I replaced all the flasher(2) as well as all of the fuses, still no signal. I am stumped any one have any advice??

The next most likely place to have trouble is in the turn signal switch. Since you have replaced the flashers and fuses, I'd start with the turn signal switch and work my way out. One of the flashers you replaced is for the 4-ways (Hazard lights). I'm curious if they are working or not. If not, then you have another set of things to suspect besides the turn signal switch. If they do work, then the turn signal switch is bad and you've proven everything else works.

Hope that helps!
