We just bought a 1992 Thomas bus with only half the seats in, since the other half is tie-down space for 6 wheelchairs. We will only keep 1 wheelchair space, and put in more seats for preschool children. Does anyone out there have seatbelt-ready seats that would fit in a Thomas bus?
Hi - thanks for the tip. Looks like a good site; however, they don't actually sell seats, only seat hardware and child restraint systems. I will need 6 benches (any color). Anyone out there have seats left over from a conversion?
I have some I'm taking out of a 92 Blue Bird Small bus. They have the belts and all. They are the ones with the legs on one side and clip into the wall on the other.
Ted, I have just pulled all of the seats out of my 92 blue bird that I'm converting, they don't have seat belts but I have about 12 right side and 12 left side seats.. If interested just drop me a line..
Thanks for the replies! For the curious, here are some pictures of our bus as it is currently, showing the interior layout (29 pass + 5 wheelchair spaces):
I see on this site that you took out the seats, are you making a motorhome out of this----the reason I ask is I bought a 1994 thomas flat nose and I am just getting started on one myself--maybe we can share some information back and forth....you cand e-mail me back if you like and maybe we can talk I live in N.C.
