What would my bus sell for? captain trips 3-16-04
I have a 1983 IH Thomas body, Fully converted and is a reg MTH by the Virginia DOT.
Last week I replaced the motor with a brand new 345 "crate motor" and it has no miles on it yet. Along with the brand new motor, I bought a brand new radiator, water pump, and fuel pump as well as a new battery. The motor came with a new oil pump so everything under the hood is "brand new".

My bus can be seen at http://www.geocities.com/capttrips25

I am just wondering what a conversion like mine would sell for with what I have in it.

An honest answer would be "Whatever someone is willing to pay for it" :-)

I saw your build up and the painting; The interior is clean and well laid out and the new engine is a big plus. A big minus is the fact it's a stick rather than an automatic, but it's a positive in terms of fuel economy.

IMHO: the new engine and the fact that it would be a cheap alternative to getting something like a Winnebago makes it worthwhile and I'd value it at about $10,000 as a baseline. Depending on what technology you have installed and boondocking capabilities I feel pretty comfortable saying as high as $15,000. Above that, and you'd have to prove you've done something pretty spectacular (above and beyond the fantastic paint).

Please don't take this as any sort of detraction from the work you've done; I think it's a first-class job!
