There's a conversion kit avalible to put on deisel motors to allow them to burn a processed vegetable oil. It's suppost to be much cleaner burning.

Hey there! my friends and i are attempting to convert our newly bought school bus to run on veggie oil. It really is an amazing process. If you are interested in it i highly suggest checking out greasel.com. they are the ones we are dealing with, and word is they are extremely friendly and reliable.
