|Hello all, Fist of all I think this forum is great. I have not personaly convertes a bus to an RV but will soon but have gotten allot of information here. Thanks.|
Here is my question: Is there any company out there that is currently purchasing buses and converting them on a comercial level? I have looked and found none. Maybe my search criteria is incorrect. Please let me know if anyone has this information.

|Conventional wisdom: the shell should be 1/3 of the value of the conversion.|
Schoolie: about $3000
Not a lot of room for profit.
Commercial converters buy late model IC buses, make high end conversions for the wealthy. Schoolies are for do-it-yourself types.

My 1961 ford weighs about 12,000+.You can goto a set of scales meant for large vehicles e.g., Truck weigh stations or try the local dump, they have scales.I hope that helps.
