Any opinions on a '72 crown with detroit 671 and 5 speed trans? A dinasour, or still viable for conversion? What kind of fuel milage on such a rig? Bus is in nice cond with low milage engine. Thanks.

I'm a Crown owner ('55 tandem axle school bus) in Eugene, Oregon and I know of three others in the area. One has a web site: mrsharkey.com. I'm always open to chatting with other Crown enthusiasts.
