Howdy all, My buddy just bought an old bus for our bike team. I'm trying to help....need the wiring diagram and service manual... 1983 GMC 6000 Bluebird body 366 V8 Thanks for any help... Dave Koslow

Hey Dave- you got to this forum ahead of me! I've posted for schematics on two yahoo! groups- schoolbusconversionuts and GMC-BusNuts. So far everyone's telling me to talk to Blusbird and/or GMC. My yahoo handle is SchmooozerPrime. Later....

Most buses have the schematic glued somewhere near to the electrical panel. If not, since you have a BB, go to BB for specifics. For the Ford part of the bus, any medium duty Ford truck manual should have the schematics you will need. Good luck. Mark O.

Try used book stores for a GMC Medium Duty Truck Service Manual. A Motors Heavy Duty Truck service manual might work for you also. I got my wiring diagram from GMC I think..........it is done ladder logic style and doesn't cover what BB wired in and so on. John the busboy
