Where can I learn more about the value of an 88 model short bus with 116k on International Diesel engine?

The Yellow Bus Book is sort of like the Kelly Blue Book for school buses.

However, used school buses usually have little or no value once they are more than 10-15 years old. Good used buses can be purchased almost anywhere in the country for less than $4K for a transit and less than $2.5K for a conventional. At auction, many buses sell for less than $1K per bus.

Due in large part to the possible/probable structural problems in the Carpenter body buses, any value the bus may have is in the parts potential of the running gear.

So, in answer to your question of what value an 88 model school bus may have, the answer is whatever you are willing to pay for it.
