I'm curious about the overall vehicle length of the various school buses available; for instance how long is a conventional 66 passenger bus? Or a 72 passenger conventional, etc? Would you post what you have on this subject?
I'm planning a skoolie conversion and we are going to tow a boat; I need to stay within the overall length requirement of various States. I know some eastern U.S. states are limited to 55' or 60' while out west here it's pretty generous.
65-66 pax conventionals are usually 35' long, 71-72 pax conventionals are usually 37-40' long.
65-67 pax transit type school buses are usually about 30' long, 72-73 pax transits are usually about 35' long, and 84-91 pax transits are usually 40' long with some of the 40' 90-96 pax transits having a second set of drive axles (not tags).
I'm doing a report in school on an argument. I choose school bus lengths. I think they should be longer so the kids don't have to sit 3 to a seat, AND have a big backpack with them!!!
PLease sind me some info to help me finish this report!
