New to the bus as rv idea by Dp
Post New Message I am new to the idea of school bus conversion and I have a lot of basic questions if anyone cares to help me out I would be very appreciative.

What busses/engines/builders are considered high quality and which are so so? Mercedes v.s. Yugo is easy but how does one tell a good bus from a not so good. What should a potential buyer look for in a used school bus? Maintainence costs vs. longevity gas or desiel? Advantages and disadvantages for rear mounted or front mounted engines?

Converting the bus can obviously be an unlimited expense. How does one go about estimating the cost of conversion? Any tips on websites to visit - search engines are turning up a lot of non-working and non-maintained sites, books, gurus I should talk to, or event I should attend to learn more?

Thanks,

DP
