Door Replacement Chris Dusch 5-30-03
I have a Ford E350 bus that I'm converting into an rv. I would like to replace the standard, bus style, double door with a regular door like in a home or motorhome. Does anyone know of an easy way to do this? Is there a manufacturer that makes a replacement door for a bus?

Hello. I need the driver's handle for a school bus door, preferably a 1960's to 1980’s Bluebird. Can you help me locate?

Thanks for your help.

THERE IS A COMPANY IN HOLLISTER CALIF.
THAT WILL MAKE ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT AS FAR AS DOORS GO. YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE A DRAWING OF WHAT YOU HAVE IN MIND AND FAX DRAWING TO THEM. THEY WORK WITH EXTRUDED ALUMINUM ETC. USUALLY THEY HAVE A QUICK TURN AROUND. THEY CAN GIVE YOU A PRICE AS PER DRAWING.
ALL RITE IS THE NAME OF THE COMPANY.

What I plan on doing.......
I can work woth wood pretty good. I am buying an 84 International Bluebird full size. My buddy partially converted the bathroom and the kitchen area. I will have a black and white darkroom, in the rear of the bus, once I get to Arizona.
The door. I would bou a solid exterior door, at Home Depot, or Lowes, and convert it for the bus. Tou could bou one with a storm window/screen in it, etc...??? Just a thought..

I need to know where I can get the outer shell for the exterior door for a 2003 Montana 5th wheeler, if not just the outer shell I will need the complete door. It is 30 inches wide 78 inches high with the top rounded corners. Thank you

Hi, Don. Good luck with conversion. Please contact me (mrbenstock@hotmail.com) if you convert door and no longer need driver's handle, shroud, and linkage. I need them, thanks!

Don't know if this would help. I have the written instruction on how to make an Eagle Highway Coach (the big 40 footers that Trailways/greyhound used) original 2 piece door into a 1 piece door. E-mail me at davidschinske@juno.com and I will send you the copy of the article.
