1979 Chevy Mini School Bus	John	4-16-03
Can anyone tell me the correct proper size tires for a 1979 chevy mini school bus. It has six rows on each side. Each row seats two. I would appreciate a prompt reply. Thanks, John C.

Have you no tires? Are you after the load rating? look at the GVWR on the bus and it will tell you what the bus will hold. If it tells you that the GVWR is 15000 lbs and you have 6 tires each tire must be capable of holding 2500 lbs. It is better to get a tire that will hold more like 3000lbs ea. A chev 1 ton ships new with 225 75 r 16 tires.
