Looking for mini bus in Austin, TX	Adam Preble	4-14-03
I'm a college student looking for a mini bus for road trips. I found a 1985 GMC Vandura G3500 for $2750, but I'm unsure I'll get it in time. I'm curious if anybody in Texas is selling a mini (14 passengers max) or if anybody has some advice where I should go to find some for sale. They don't seem to appear in newspaper classifieds. Heck, I only found out about that GMC because I passed it on the side of the road.

Try your local school dist. if that fails try a G.M.C. heavy Truck Dealer (or other make like Ford ect.) they will ussually have some old busses rhey want to sell. some advice though, your going to pay more for a shortie than you would a full size bus. perhaps a extended 2 ton van might be the ideal thing, you'd need a roof rack to carry 14 peoples worth of gear, but Id bet the gas mileage would be better than a shortie school bus. hope this helps Beorn.
