Does anyone Know if you can put 11R22.5 wheels and tires on the front of your schoolie,while running 10.00R20's on the rear? thanks for any info Beorn.

WE did! It was a close fit. We got our tires from Goodyear. They were the ones who told us they would fit. They did and so we bought them. I can't tell how much i like those tires. And we had them siped for winter driving. Can't tell you how much I like having those tires siped. However don't run two different size tires on your bus. John the busboy

11R22.5 tires are virtually the same size tire as a 10:00X20 tire. The difference is the 22.5 tire is a tubeless type of tire and the 20 tire is a tube type tire. Mixing tire size and type on an axle is not recommended (putting on a tube type tire for a spare to get you home is okay) but tubeless on the front and tube type out back is not proscribed. The important thing to consider is that all of the tires on an axle are the same height. Re-caps on the same size casing can be many different heights. The tubeless tires will ride smoother and softer. They will also give better traction in low traction situations. If you have 10-hole Budd wheels and you wanted to lower your highway RPM speed, going to an 11R24.5 will give you a tire about an inch taller but about the same width. It will effectively change your rear end ratio and give you 5-7 more MPH for the same RPM. It will cut back on your hill climbing ability however (no free lunch!). Good luck. Mark O.
