Wow what great posts! Well I took my first test drive of a schoolie! 88 gmc 8.2 diesel, allison auto, 35 caps. and AIR BRAKES! First of all the red light thing, (says piolet) and alarm is rear door open (illinois thing), after I latched it the red light and buzzer went away. What can I say lets list the cons of my trip. Cons, Very bumpy ride! Diesel smell slow accelration top speed 55-65 mph had to yell to talk to wife and son. loose seats rattling. Pros, Lots of room Safe Rugged fun to drive good mirrors good visability cheap conclusion my wife hates the bumpy ride! I want more speed! Now if I can overcome these great , ethier mentally or phisically other wise, I must in all logic consider HWY bus or motor home or ?. If your going to buy DRIVE IT. I'am still thinking schoolie but atlas some of my dream has been diluted. JAWS

Buy the schoolie, dump your wife, and you'll find plenty of 18 year old hippy chicks that wont complain about the ride.

Get a coach. my gillig pusher is quiet ,rides like an old caddy and is even easier to manuver with.out that snout up front. gilligs or crowns first choice. blue birds a distant third. Ron blue birds
