I just bout a 1960 chevrolet viking 60 schoolbus it has been partially converted however the wiring is only half way done. It seems that i have found the greatest jigsaw puzzle of all time! I desperately need a wiring diagram and all i have found thus far are places to purchase books. My wife and i are o dissability and i have to get this bus converted for us to live in as it will much cheaper If anyone out there can help me i would be eternally gratefull! Keith

Kieth don't get despirate..yet. wiring is fairly simple and you can do most of it yourself. Plus if the existing wiring is butchered you might have to fix it anyway. Simple wiring... The bus has two systems..the engine/bus wires and the cabin/camper wires. Get a basic automotive wiring manual from the library, or a Chiltons Guide from the Auto store for the bus part and a house wiring book from Home Depot for the camper. The tools for both will cost you $20. Bus It is 12v and charges the battery, runs the headlights and the engine.Most likely this part is operating ok, the bus runs doesn't it? Cabin electrics This could be an offshoot of the 12v bus electricity or it could be an independent 120v circuit like in your house. If the previous owner did a crappy job, you might consider starting new. A part time electrician could do the whole job in a day or two for 500-1000$, and give you a safe system. goo9d luck Happy Trails
