Does anyone know what the approximate gas mileage would be for a 27-passenger GMC bus with a 350 gas engine? Thanks...

:that 350 will get 4-7 mpg depending on the age (smoker) and the transmission/rear end ratios. Most rear ends are geared to slow heavy driving at 55 top speed, like a dump truck strong and slow. Some have a highway ratio that will gain you 2 mpg and go 65-75 easily. You can find out which you have by reading the code #'s stamped into the rear differential case. Transmissions vary between 3, 4, &5 speed standards and auto. Mine has a split rear end with 5x2...10 speed tranny and it has low..low gears and travels ok at 65 with 5-6mpg.
