Holding Tank Heat Patches by Chaz
Post New Message I bought a new trailer this summer and included in the deal was to install heat patches on the tanks w/ insulated underbelly.I took the trailer back to the dealer and they put the ducted under-belly but did not install the heat patches.
I will probably use this trailer most every weekend and my concern was keeping the tanks from freezing when I was out where there is no electricity. I do have a generator, but did not want to have to run the furnace all the time. and where I store the trailer(at my house) I have a 50 amp plug.
I just did't want to winterise my trailer every week and the dealer is telling me I will be sorry for the patches that draw to many amps, and that winterising is the way to go.
any advise out ther? Thanks, Chaz
