BELL EXPRESS VU RIP-OFF Tunde Owoola 10-18-07
If you are considering signing up for any Bell services, THINK AGAIN. I got ripped-off on a two-year contract.. I was supposed to get a rebate of $3 per month on a second receiver for the duration of the contract term. Now Bell is singing a new tune, insisting that the rebate was only for 12 months despite the fact that all my previous bills indicate the rebate is good for 24 Months. CONSUMERS BEWARE OF BELL -

Hi,
Stand you ground. Tell them you'll go to consumer's report, or at tv, or else.
And moreover, we do have Bell too, and we wont have reception anymore in the US from January 2008. We have changed from Star Choice to Bell Express Vu because our new motorhome was equipped with Bell.
I dislike them, to say the least.
Regards,
Mireille

My wife and I purchased a house. The bank did a credit check and we discovered that my wife had a bad credit rating due to a Bell express vue notice on her credit rating. It was for a 4 years old invoive and she had been told by Bell that she did not have to pay because it was their error. The bank demanded that we settle with Bell but they had no record of it. Be aware

I have 3 recievers through bell at my house. One in the livingroom and one in each of my kids rooms. Bell started screwing me around saying I had to manually validate my recievers, which is bullsh*t. They just figure if you have more than on reciever you are sharing the other 2 with a different household. Giving somebody free TV. But in my case its 100% legit and they are pretty much treating me like i've done something wrong. They stopped my programming, and that happened on a friday night. Then when I called them to do this validation, something screwed up and now only one box will get programming. The 2nd one, the channels are all red on the guide, just like i have no subscription. And the third one wont even power up at all! I don't know if they screwed the 3rd one or if it just fried due to old age (i've had it since '98). Anyway thinking real hard about going to starchoice. Bell can suck it.

Oh yeah I forgot, since it was friday night at 9'oclock when it happened, I have to wait 24hrs to do the validation again. But 24hrs from then they are not open because they close saturday at 6. And they are not open on sunday. So I have to wait until monday morning to call these pricks to get my TV back. What would you guys do? Cancel? I'll be like 60 or 70 hrs with only one reciever and I have 3 that are supposed to be working on the account. Its just not right how they treat their customers. I told the guy i'm gonna get my kids to call him saturday morning and he can explain to them why they can't watch cartoons in their bedroom. I missed the opening to the olympics, missing NBA allstar weekend, gonna miss the daytony 500. Pricks.
