Post New Message I have recently returned from a 10,000 KM round trip to BC, towing a 14ft 2200lb trailer with my 2002 Caravan SE,with 3.3 engine, and towing package. The van pulled this trailer with little effort, hardly realizing there was a trailer. I would like to step up to a 16 or 18 ft trailer. What would be the safest maximum weight that I could tow with my van.
