Argosy univolt system Bob 7-25-07
Do you need a battery in the trailer get the 110 volt electrical components to work?
Are all the lights 12 volt?

Bob,

I have a 74 Argosy and all my lights work thru the univolt system with out a 12 V battery being connected. All my lights are 12 V.
Re: argosy univolt system Philip 9-5-13
I have a 1974 argosy the interior electrical system will not work using a battery but work great when it is plugged into 110 volt system. I checked the resistance in the ground and positive cables and the did not have any resistance than I made sure I was getting voltage into the distribution box and I had 12.8 volts exactly the same as what the battery had in it, but why in nothing working on DC volts? All the fuses are good, could it be something within the univolt system? The univolt system it has is the one that has the converter and the 12 volt fuses all in one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
