We have a ford f350 dually 2002 140000 ks on it. When coming to a stop or pulling away unloaded there is a clunk like the cab or the box is not attached to the frame.
I have had the u joints checkede 3 ford mechanics have looked at it and cannot tell me what this could be.
I have looked at the rear springs and shackles and everything seems to be in order.
A 140,000 miles is not a lot but it could be your brakes. the back plate may have a grove where the shores sit and this ive a1 time clunk as you move from a stop or come to a stop
