Post New Message 5000w is a lot of generator to be dragging around. Unless you're lighting up the neighborhood it's probably overkill, and the weight will be significant. The noise is one issue, as is the fuel. If it's gas, id recommend against hooking it up to the regular fuel tank. Can you add a 2nd fuel tank anywhere in your rig? 5000w is going to use some juice, and it could be easy to siphon off all your fuel and drain your fuel injectors dry, leaving you to bleed them back and possibly having to get mech assistance unless you're handy. Also make sure the output amperage is compatible with the wiring in your rig.
