My generator runs from my back fuel tank in the motor home. I have a 4000 watt Kohler. I ran the exhaust to the back, into a car muffler. After the car muffler, I used PVC pipe! I ran it up the back of the motor home and a foot above the roof. It works awesome!! It gets hot, but nothing like metal. I used some of that putty that comes in a tube that you mix together to hold the PVC to the metal pipe. I used the regular glue on the rest of the pipe. I painted it to match my home too. It works like a champ!!! Does not melt!! All the exhaust go up in the air. I had people complain of the fumes at a Nascar race, so I fixed that problem. |
