1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer brian 4-13-04

Re: 1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer Eric 7-15-08
I just purchased a 65 Aristocrat Lo liner which had been parked in storage for years, original owners in their 80's and 90's. Tires were still good, inside immaculate, I do need a new doorknob for the exterior. Also missing hubcaps. Anyone with info I will trade info back. All electrical diagrams and maintenance schedule diagrams were intact in the closet. The lady charged me 300 dollars but only if I would take both of her trailers the other one being a 71 that I let a buddy have for 100 dollars. Other than the door knob, I am ready to roll.
Re: 1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer Tom McBride 6-12-08
I have owned a 1966 Aristocrat Trailer for some years. To my knowledge only a few different sizes were built and the 13ft was one of them but I do not think they built a 12ft one. It weighs 1,300 pounds. It's history is: Irving Perch manufactured Aristocrat trailers in California from 1956 to 1974. The Lo-Liner model was called that because one could purchase optional metal wheels to install when storage in a low garage was desired. These smaller wheels lowered the height, as well as the unique “drop axle”. The Lo-Liner was sold as a 13 and a 15' trailer back then, but licensed as 16', as the nearest measurement from hitch to tail. (The living space is 14'.) Perch also manufactured a Land Commander, Highliner, Lil Loafer, Traveleer, Classic, Landmark, Landliner, American Clipper and Pick up Partner and an 8 ft RV called “the bug”. The exterior of the Lo-Liner was notable for the large windows on all sides of the trailer. The trailers were extremely well-built with aircraft construction techniques,(metal I beams) and many are still on the road all over North America.
Re: 13' aristocrat travelier tracy 5-30-08
I just bought a "travelier" that the seller says is a 1971. It sure looks earlier (60's)with the turquoise stove/oven and fridge. It weighs 1200 pounds and we can pull it easily with a 4 cylinder subaru. Needs a bit of cleaning up and some repairs...but sure is a cutie! Does anyone know a website about traveliers or how to obtain a manual? Tracy
Re: 1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer Chris 7-30-08
I have inherited some land, and on that land is an Aristocrat lo-liner that has been parked for 25 or 30 years. It is great shape and I plan to recover it next month. I will have to take out one tree that has grown too close to it, and I need to put wheels and tires on it. I am under the impression I will also need to grease the axle--does anyone know what else I would need to do to it? I will also need to work some brake lighting of course. I would GREATLY appreciate any advice on how to go about this. Thank you for looking, and hopefully responding too.

Re: 1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer Dave Paulus 5-1-08
I have a 17' aristocrat lo-liner that I spent about a year working on. The entire outside and inside has been redone and updated. One of those "too much to list" deals. Does anyone know anyone who "just has to have one"? I don't even know what the thing would be worth to someone. I'll send anyone photos if they're interested.

Re: 1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer Amy 3-19-08
I do not know the exact weight, but they are very light. Around 1500 lbs to 2000lbs max. My half ton can haul 8,000 lbs. So even the small trucks should be able to pull 2000lbs. They pull beautifully. They stay right behind you, do not drift, and they do not cause a lot of drag.

The value of a trailer depends on location, time of year, condition, number of other available and how bad someone else wants one.

Roughly from $300 to $5,000.
Re: 1966 12' Aristocrat Mainliner travel trailer skihappy78 2-7-14
Anyone know the weight of this trailer? I am considering buying it to remodel...also a manual would be great. The body measures 12 ft. and from the back to the tow tongue 15 ft. Having a hard time figuring what measurement to go by as answers are a bit vague. Thanks!
Re: 1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer Kara 7-26-13
It's a boy! We just purchased 1 1963 Aristrocrat. I was hoping to speak to ANYONE who might know more about that year. I'm trying to find pictures to see what model it is but so far no luck. We want to restore it to it's original look but can't seem to find it,lol Also this one is painted inside. I have seen some interiors painted some wood. Does anyone know if they came from the showroom painted? Thanks for all your help! Kara

Biblical Fruit humanneigor 12-1-11
Why was the biblical fruit of knowledge forbidden?
It’s obvious that this story from the Old Testament was not about the ripeness
of divine fruits, but about the spiritual maturity of the man himself. Only a spiritually
mature mankind can learn the Truth – that is what the Bible conveys in a metaphorical manner.
The Knowledge of the Truth is a sign of spiritual maturity and that’s why only
the Knowledge of the Truth entitles one to the Symbol of the Truth, which is an
Ancient Contact Symbol that will prove to you that we are not alone in the Universe.

Re: 13' aristocrat travelier tracy 8-4-08
Well, we finally found out that our "travelier" (notice correct spelling, because some think it is spelled "traveleer") was built in 1965 (not '71). I had new foam cut from all original booth and couch seating and had it recovered in red sparkle vinyl. I made new curtains out of a "loungy" martini-like print. the turquoise appliances look great, but last camping trip, we could not get the fridge to cool down enough and had to "save" our food back into coolers with ice. Anyone have a tips for fridge use? we did have a professional service all the gas lines and do a safety check.
Re: 13' aristocrat travelier tim 7-10-09
I have one as well did you ever find photos?
Re: 13' aristocrat travelier Dan Dimond 6-14-17
What you have is an Aristocrat Travelier 14. To my knowledge, these trailers were only manufactured in 1965 and 1966.

Re: 1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer Kim 7-4-08
I just found a 1965 Aristocrat Land Commander. It was purchased in 1965, and parked in a barn. NEVER used. It is mint. There is dust and spiderwebs. It has the turquoise stove and fridge. I am cleaning it up. I just put new tires on it today. The propane tanks are full of gas still! All the lights work, etc. Burners turned right on. I wouldn't mind selling this though, as cool as it is, I'm a bit more modern. But this is for sure a collectors item.
Re: 1966 12' aristocrat travel trailer Stacie James Bush 9-5-08
Hey!
I also have a '66 and was wondering if you had found the manual along with the trailer? There are several tricks to the "turquoise" appliances that I just can't seem to figure out....Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Stacie James Bush
