My son is buying his grandfathers motor home. He just started living in it. How can I and do I need to buy a heater to keep the water hose from freezing. We bought a Water King Water Pipe Heat Cable but it says not to use it on hose. I could use it on PVC but would have to wrap the PVC wuth aluminum tape but I can't use the rigid PVC pipe. Can I just use that sponge tube with a slit in the side of it and is there anything else I might need?. It has to be detachable so he can leave to go to get his propane tak filled when empty.
