Seatbelts? s.Melto 8-20-03
Definitely new to RV land. just bought Tioga, 2 nice captains chairs, dinette with two bench seats and fold down bench seat in back. Where in the world do the grandkids sit and why are there no seatbelts? can it be retrofitted? thanks for being patient with a newbie.....

I will amend my earlier post. I did discover Florida exempts children in the living quarters of an RV. Still not comfortable with this. How have other parents dealt with this situation. please e-mail me. Wont camp til i know what to do!

I actually am looking into retrofitting my rv for seatbelts...state law says I dont need them but its for my piece of mind...I used to work in a junkyard and seatbelts are not that hard to remove especially the rear ones..find a solid brace and anchor them down...if you choose to use used ones make sure they have no tears or cuts and try to get them from a vehical no older than five years

Check under dinnett seat cusions..front facing usually have the seat belts.
Also look under couch..should have them. Most of mine had seat belts under front facing dinette and on couch
