79 Dodge Road Ranger by Steve

We're considering purchasing a 79 Dodge Road Ranger from a family member. It's in good shape, 85,000 miles. I haven't been able to find any info on this model on the web and my insurance company wants the original sale price of the vehicle before they'll give me an estimate. I have a vin number, is there any place I might be able to get more information on this particular vehicle? Has anyone heard of this model? Thanks!!!
