Boy I did it this time!! Richard Christensen 4-1-03
We just bought a 1979 Class C RV. In good shape but needs some work. $700.00, I had a gun. Problum is we are tent campers,30 years and know nothing about RVs. How things work, care and maint, etc. Though we may never use the equiptment in it we should know how to use and maintain them. I am a mechinic so working on and restoring it is no problum.knowing how to use is. Is there any books on this and where can we get them?
Thanks
RC

You'll have to give more information on what kind of Class C (make, model, year, etc.).

You can find a lot of information in this site by searching the discussion groups, FAQs, or articles.

What you don't find, ask in the discussion group again, but be more specific.

Let us all know how you made out? Here are some links that might help:

RV Refrigerators

RV Generators

RV water Heaters

Hi,

I wold recommend you take the time and go to you local RV repair shop and ask them how much and when they could do a demo on your RV for you. They will walk you through every step and feature on your motorhome, we do this on every sale... i guess thats whats makes a good RV dealer hehe

Brad
P.S good luc and all the best with your new purchase, lifes a trip go RVing.
