Sways side to side Nancy Ketchum 7-12-12
Are looking at a 1997 28ft Bounder Motorhome for sale. Test Drive reveals a swaying as it goes down the road from side to side is this normal? Seller says it has always done that and feels it is normal. We questioned that as with other test drives on diff. vehicles that ploblem didnt arise Would appreciate any feed back on that THANKS

I suggest going up one load range on the Tires. If it calls for "D" range, use "E" range instead. The stiffer sidewalls and maybe even more "ply's" and also the better Quality tire can make a difference.

Someone probably put on radials instead of 4 ply or 8 ply bias trailer tires. You can't put radials on trailers.
