I have a 88 RV class A with aluminum frame. I found that the frame will oxidize at the contact point with the steel frame of the bed. I had to do some extensive repairs to re do the contact as the whole body was dropping down since it was not connected to the frame anymore. Very costly. Plus side is Aluminum is much lighter than steel and at $4.00 per gallon of gas or higher that is a plus on the MPG side. |
