Well, we finally found out that our "travelier" (notice correct spelling, because some think it is spelled "traveleer") was built in 1965 (not '71). I had new foam cut from all original booth and couch seating and had it recovered in red sparkle vinyl. I made new curtains out of a "loungy" martini-like print. the turquoise appliances look great, but last camping trip, we could not get the fridge to cool down enough and had to "save" our food back into coolers with ice. Anyone have a tips for fridge use? we did have a professional service all the gas lines and do a safety check. |
