My name is Cris McHenka. I write for Woman Motorist. Look in the RV department. I use Progressive Insurance for my RV and have found the rates pretty tough to beat. The service is excellent. Motorhomes are covered for $79 per year with the Allstate Motor Club. All the family auto's, trucks, and RV's are covered as well for the same rate. The tow is unlimited miles-they really take it where it needs to go. When I broke down in FLA. they towed the RV 179 miles to the nearest service area! All that and no charge to me! Cris

Cris, In 1990 I was able to obtain an Allstate Motor Club RV Park & Campground Directory. It is the best I have ever used. Though I have newer versions of others, I still use the Allstate directory to find campgrounds. Do you know if I can get a new edition of it somewhere? Please tell me why my daughter(insured by Progressive) is expected to pay insurance on a car that was totalled on Dec. 18, 2002. Is there something strange going on with this insurance company? I was always under the impression that car insurance was paid for a specific car. Well, this car is totalled and no settlement has been made and th wreck was 12/18/02. Please, I need information. Also, my daughter was 17 when this wreck occurred; now progressive attached her dad to the policy. She had been paying $313.95 monthly. When they attached her 54 yr. old dad, it increased to $468.95......and she doesn't even have a car because it was totalled. Please help!!! I really do not understand any of this. I can answer that. Yes, Progressive will write insurance for bus conversions as long as they are not school buses. The company I work for writes insurance for Progressive Insurance and Royal Insurance, both of which have price and service that is hard to beat. They both offer specialty coverages that you cannot find just anywhere, especially for a bus conversion. Progressive is my insurance company and I have been very impressed overall. Recently our insurance company cancelled our 1964 GMC bus conversion, the reason stated:The agency no longer represents the company in the state of MN. The company is American and Foreign Ins. Co. I think the agency is Royal SunAlliance. Can anyone help me to find replacement ins as well as full coverage for our rig in the state of MN {10,000 lakes, 10,000 taxes} These agencies and their ins companies confuse a person.
