RV Alliance (Royal) Jmaxwell 3-11-99
RV Alliance (formerly Alexander & Alexander) and underwritten by Royal Ins. for conversions, has a new gimmick in the offering. I have liability and uninsured w/them, but never bothered to get coll/comp. Finished my bus 2 yrs. ago and just didn't get around to coll/comp. Now they want me to pay $125 of a $250 fee to appraise it, this is irregardless of whether I want coll/comp. Seems like a scam to collect some premiums without calling them premiums. I currently pay $182/yr for liability, which probably isn't to great, but I'm going shopping elsewhere just on general principles. I don't like being dictated to and being forced into paying for something involuntarily. I guess it's sort of like taxes.

I just bought a 1979 International / Wayne 'equipment bus' -- no seats except the driver's --- and now am seeking liability insurance.

I am trying to connect to RV Alliance through a Texas agency that their 18008476925 person referred me to.
Have you found any other underwriters ?
