Does anyone out there have State Farm coverage on a converted bus. My agent says they do not underwrite non-factory manufactured, either for liab. or coll/comp

I have a converted MCI-7 insured by State Farm. They need to either see the bus or pictures of it. I have heard that some agents may not be aware that they can write such policies if the have not run across it before. Or it may vary from state to state. I am in Ohio. Dennis Does anyone out there have State Farm coverage on a converted bus. My agent says they do not underwrite non-factory manufactured, either for liab. or coll/comp

I think they're lying. I'm pretty sure I called a local State Farm guy when I found out one of their customers had insurance. He said it was only because they guy had homeowners and car insurance with them. Does anyone out there have State Farm coverage on a converted bus. My agent says they do not underwrite non-factory manufactured, either for liab. or coll/comp --We have a 63 GMC conversion that has been non-op for a number of years we are just now starting the insurance hunt, but the last time it was covered (liab. only) was through a State Farm agent.
