I just received a VERY pleasant surprise from National General Insurance Co(1-800-847-2886) when I asked for a quote for insurance on my 57 PD4104 bus-conversion. I live in a small town in central California, have two other vehicles, wife and I are 65 & 66, retired, no traffic violations in past 3 years,and liability only (100/300/50 with 5M med) 6 month coverage $48 if driving only 1,000 MPY(miles per year),$69 at 10,000 MPY and $86 at 20,000 MPY. Yours will probably vary depending on your age, driving record and location. But it's a free call, maybe they can save you some money.
My insurance premiums are enough to make a person cry every time the check has to be filled out.
I live in the state of Washington which is about the same as the state of confusion when it comes to affordable insurance of any kind.
I would greatly appreciate any help in this area.
