Bus Insurance HELP! Ben 2-25-00
Called National General Insurance and talked to them. My school buses have to be converted by a place that does bus conversions(perfessionals converters). I have 2 school buses, one is a 1984 chevy 65 passenger and the other is a 1984 chevy 25 passenger bus. What do I do to get insurance on these things? I hope I didn't buy 2 storage units on wheels. Thank you and God bless you all.

I have a 1983 International Diesel 60 passenger bus converted by me with no propane involved and I am a licensed Truck and Coach mechanic in a remote part of Northwestern Ontario. It has passed a mechanical at an independent garage licensed to do so and I do not see it compromised in any way. I also have faced the hardline of only being offered facility insurance, close to $2,000/ year, despite no information about these vehicles experiencing any high claims in Ontario. What is going on are no insurance companies human in Ontario.Only those already insured can continue to buy $250-$350/year insurance. We need provcial insurance if private insurance companies are not user friendly. Let me know if anyone findes
