They are a terrible company. I am not sure they are legitimate. The company which is supposed to take care of their claims is now in liquidation according to their recorded message at (800)845-6477. The number for Intercontinental 888.661.7880 is never answered, you just get the run around and they do not respond to messages. I have been trying for over seven weeks to get a refund on a policy I canceled and cannot get any response from them. I have had nothing but problems with this company from the beginning.
I had a contract with them and when I sold my vehicle and ask for my pro-rata refund, they told me the company insuring my coverage, National Warranty Insurance Company, is in liquidation and there will be no refund. Many people have been unable to collect on costs of repairs to their vehicles.

My mother was contacted as well. They appear to be in Florida now and claim to be affiliated with Honda which Honda claims they are not. Anyone contact any authorities about them?
I have had several policies with them on different cars that I owned. My parents also have policies on their vehicles. They have always stood behind their contracts, and even paid a claim that the Insurance company wouldn't cover for me. They are always courteous and have even helped me when I purchased my new car. They will get my business again.
