Just e-mailed Mr. Hobbs before realizing I am in the same boat. The person with the school bus is out of luck,we had one up to last summer and were only able to get liability with the MN risk pool, high rates. We now have a 1964 GMC 4106 and were just cancelled because they said they weren't licensed in the state of MN anymore. Has anyone found any companies yet. Thanks for your help.
We need full value coverage.
I have a 1981 Crown supercoach ready for a pro conversion. The catch: My custom conversion plans do not include a full bathroom and kitchen. Heat, AC, and 110/220 are in the plans, but no kitchen or full bathroom (I do have plans for toilet facilities). This is a great bus with 320,000 miles (a baby) and was extremely well maintained...I just drove it 1400 miles from LA to Austin. Because it does not have all the amenities of most motorhomes, other insurance companies are not interested. Can you help?
We are thinking about purchasing a 1972 GM 4905 bus, 100 percent proffessionaly converted to a 6 bunk entertainer for our band. However, I have not been about to find anyone to insure a bus that old, what... are we out of luck? any help would be great. Cuz, not everyone has the money to my a 1985 or newer bus! Thanks
LOOKS LIKE I'M IN THE SAME BOAT. I HAVE A 1983 BLUE BIRD 38' BUS. IT WAS ORIGINALLY BUILT AS A BLOD DONATION MOTORCOACH. A/C'S, GENERATORS, ELECTRICAL ARE ALL IN PLACE. EVERYTHING IN IT IS A MODULAR UNIT. I'M JUST WANTING TO REARRAIGN THE UNITS, ADD A BATHROOM AND A GALLEY. ALL I'M BEING TOLD IS THEY WON'T INSURE A SCHOOL BUS. ANY HELP OR SUGGESTION OF INURANCE COMPANY IS APPRECIATED. THANKS.
